Programs

• Scholars / Honors:This program is designed for students who excel academically. These students are geared towards Honors, Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement classes. With hard work, students could graduate from Carroll High with an Associates in Arts (AA) or less. These students must be independent and motivated as their classes are especially rigorous and fast-paced from 9th to 12th grade.
• College Preparatory: This program offers a variety of challenging curriculum paths providing opportunities for students as they prepare for college and beyond. Growth and advancement within levels is available to all students who are motivated and willing to work towards their goal.
• Achieve: For high school age students with developmental disabilities. Students in the Achieve Program follow a modified curriculum via Access Points for Florida alternate achievement standards. Students in this program will work on life management and vocational skills essential for success as adults. The program includes academic instruction, daily living, community-based instruction, athletics, vocational preparation, and the study of the Catholic faith

Cardinal Gibbons is not currently accepting transfer applications for the 2027–2028 school year. Transfer applications will open in January 2027, pending availability.

St. Brendan High School does not accept transfer applications for 9th or 12th grade. Application opens March 1, 2027 for the 10th and 11th grade.

NOTE: This application is not intended for incoming freshmen (9th grade). To apply as an incoming freshman, please visit the school’s website and complete the 2027–2028 9th Grade Application. Applications submitted through this Application Portal will not be reviewed.

• Medical or professional documentation supporting the need for extended time (e.g., psychoeducational evaluation, physician statement)
• Evidence that the applicant has been receiving extended time at her current school for at least three months prior to the Entrance Exam (e.g., ILP, 504 Plan)

Our School Counseling Department will review the submitted documentation and determine eligibility for extended time. The primary contact will be notified of the determination prior to the Entrance Exam.
