Prekindergarten Application

Pre-K is funded by Blueprint for Maryland's Future. The Blueprint for Maryland's Future requires the implementation of a mixed-delivery system for prekindergarten. The mixed-deliver system for prekindergarten in both private provider and school-based settings in order to allow families to choose the prekindergarten program that is the best fit for their three-and-four-year-old children. AACPS does not provide transportation to private provider locations or public schools outside of the family's home school transportation catchment. The Blueprint granted all three- and four-year-old children from families earning incomes at or below 300% Federal Poverty Level access to high-quality full-day Pre-K at no cost. When applying for Pre-K you are required to include all household members including children in the household size. You must provide proof of income for EACH adult household member. Household members include children and anyone who is living in the home that shares income and expenses, even if not related.
Applications with inaccurate or missing information cannot be considered. Income documentation must match the information provided on the application; failure to do so will result in delayed processing.
