This online enrollment portal will guide you through a simple, step-by-step process to register your child. Please review the statement in blue below, complete the required information, and upload all necessary documents. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email, and school staff will follow up if additional information is needed to complete your child's enrollment.

Cognitive/Intellectual - How your child things, learns, and understands things such as figuring out puzzles or remembering shapes and colors.
Attention/Executive Functioning - Includes the skills needed to focus, plan, and organize. Paying attention to a story, following instructions, and organizing toys are some examples of this skill.
Adaptive Skills - The things your child learns to do to become independent and capable such as feeding themselves, getting dressed, or washing hands.
Social/Emotional - Includes the skills your child needs to understand and express their feelings, make friends, and get along with others.

Pre-K is funded by Blueprint for Maryland's Future. The Blueprint for Maryland's Future requires the implementation of a mixed-delivery system for prekindergarten. The mixed-deliver system for prekindergarten in both private provider and school-based settings in order to allow families to choose the prekindergarten program that is the best fit for their three-and-four-year-old children. AACPS does not provide transportation to private provider locations or public schools outside of the family's home school transportation catchment. The Blueprint granted all three- and four-year-old children from families earning incomes at or below 300% Federal Poverty Level access to high-quality full-day Pre-K at no cost. The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requires Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) to collect information about the early care experiences of all newly enrolling kindergarten students.

Dual Language at Tyler Heights
Priority for the Dual Language program is given to students who are registered prior to July 15. The Dual Language program at Tyler Heights Elementary School provides a K-5 instructional model in which students learn content and literacy skills in both English and Spanish. The goals of the program are high levels of bilingualism and biliteracy, excellence in academic achievement, and multiculturalism.
Please indicate your interest in the Dual Language program at Tyler Heights Elementary School. Students will be selected for the program based on a lottery. Checking "yes" enters your child for the Dual Language lottery. Checking "no" declines participation in the Dual Language program.
